Phong Nha – Ke Bang Wins Double Titles at the 2025 World Travel Awards

October 13, 2025, in Hong Kong (China), during the solemn ceremony of the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2025, the name Phong Nha – Ke Bang, representing Vietnam, was proudly announced twice. Surpassing many strong contenders across the continent, Phong Nha – Ke Bang excellently won two of the most prestigious categories in natural tourism: Vietnam’s Leading Nature Destination 2025 and Asia’s Leading National Park 2025. These two prestigious titles once again affirm the special position of the “Kingdom of Caves” on the world tourism map.

The WTA 2025 awards are not only international recognition of its unspoiled natural beauty but also clear evidence of Quang Tri Province’s sustainable tourism development strategy, where nature and people together protect and preserve the heritage.

Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Director of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board, shared: “This award is not only a title but also recognition of the tireless efforts of all officials and staff of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. It is the result of a persistent journey to preserve the original heritage values, to develop tourism towards sustainability, and to take the lead in digital transformation, bringing Vietnam’s natural beauty closer to the world.” Mr. Thai added:“The victory at WTA 2025 is completely consistent with Quang Tri Province’s strategic orientation, which identifies tourism as one of the four pillars of economic development. The goal is not only to turn Phong Nha – Ke Bang into the adventure tourism center of Asia but also to make it a model of green tourism development, one that harmonizes people and nature.”
